Superchunk Releasing New Album ‘What A Time To Be Alive,’ Stream Title Track

Superchunk will be releasing their first album in four years. It's called What A Time To Be Alive and is due out February 16th via Merge Records (pre-order MP3). The album's first two singles "Break The Glass" and "What A Time To Be Alive" suggests a politically-driven album shedding light on Trump-era America. The album will also feature appearances from David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Sabrina Ellis(A Giant Dog, Sweet Spirit), Katie Crutchfield (Waxahatchee), Stephin Merritt (The Magnetic Fields), and Skylar Gudasz

"What A Time To Be Alive" is a snappy hook-driven powerpop tune- with snappy rhythm sections and abrasive vocals. You can stream it below and watch the lyric video. 

In support of the album, Superchunk will embark on a North American tour in the Winter and Spring of 2018. The tour will include a stop at San Francisco's Noise Pop Festival on February 24th. See the full tour schedule below:
